Recipe Box: Oven Baked Kale Chips

So, I’ve been slowly working my way back to a healthier lifestyle. I stated on my Instagram page that before I even bother going to the gym or exercising consistently, I have to work hard on my eating. I LOVE dessert and I’ve lusted after a salty snack or two as well, getting healthy can be hard when you are just looking for something to snack on. It’s the snacking and the empty drink calories that tend to get us and we don’t even know it!

I found this awesome recipe for Kale chips and of course made it my own! Check it out and share your favorite healthy snacks!



5-7 leafy sprigs of Kale

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 tsp of salt


Pre-heat oven to 350°.

Wash kale thoroughly and pat dry.

Cut the leaves off of the stem and place on a metal cookie sheet (wax paper optional)

Coat leaves in olive oil, sparingly, and sprinkle with salt

Place into oven for 5-7 minutes or just before leaves turn brown.

Let cool about 3-5 minutes
